Natural color Banana Yarn

Banana Yarn is fabricated from remnants of Clothing Industry that is further hand spun. We collect the pieces of sari and then spun it to form banana silk. Mostly, stalk of banana plant is finely processed to make this quality fabric. The stalk consists of different layers which are used for various purposes.
We work with women’s development groups in India to produce this unique yarn and other silk yarn products. Purchasing this yarn provides additional income to support and improve their family earnings.
